Student-Oriented Facilities

We have one thing in mind when building new facilities or renovating existing structures at Brewster: Students. Ensuring that your current and future educational goals are met is our No. 1 concern. We’ve created classrooms, study spaces, and academic areas that keep pace with the high-tech world of today and tomorrow, giving you an edge in college and beyond.

In addition to your school-supplied laptop, you’ll also have extensive access to a variety of state-of-the-art computers and software in two full lab environments, including a desktop publishing and journalism lab and a multimedia lab.

Here are just a few of the state-of-the-art facilities you will enjoy as a Brewster student.

Academic Building—“The Ac,” as it is known, offers the most technologically-sophisticated academic environment of any secondary school campus in the United States.

Wilson Center for Teaching and Learning—Attached to the Academic Building, the Wilson Center houses upper school classrooms, team areas, and the Kenison Library.

Anderson Hall—One of Brewster's newest facilities, this top-notch performance venue is home to Brewster musical artists and is the main place of assembly for the campus community.

The Kenison Library—Comfortable and connected best describe our library, which features 102 study desks offering access to the library’s resources, CD tower, and the Internet; cozy study nooks for reading and relaxing; and a well-balanced collection of print and digital materials.

Residence halls—Your Brewster home in one of our 20 dormitories offers comfort and convenience with abundant wireless Internet access, computer connections in your room, and all the basic furnishings.

Art Center—Self-expression is an important part of learning at Brewster, and you’ll have many opportunities to be creative through classes and workshops in pottery, painting, drawing, sculpting, photography, and computer graphics.

Spaulding-Emerson Student Center—Take a break from studying and catch up with friends over laundry and snacks.

The David M. and Sheila H. Smith Center for Athletics and Wellness—Innovation and quality at Brewster extends to our athletic and workout facilities, offering everything from spacious workout rooms to university-quality cardiovascular and weightlifting equipment.
