A powerful suite of curriculum-authoring tools allows teachers to make a personalized educational experience possible for our students. Designed specifically for Brewster, these tools allow teachers to bring together all that is known about the best ways to teach and learn. In addition to this technology, Brewster teachers also participate in a rigorous professional development experience known as the Brewster Summer Institute (BSI). During the school year, the teachers participate in a support and evaluation process that is tracked through our powerful database, which includes information on more than 400 classroom observations and 3,500 student evaluations of classroom teachers conducted at Brewster each year. We use this data to enhance the professional development of our teachers, as well as the overall classroom learning experience.
