Favorite Brewster experience...
My favorite Brewster experience is the dorm experience. Dorm life is the best part of boarding school. I get to live with my best friends and develop special relationships with each one of them. Dorm life is great because while I can have as much fun with my friends as I want, I also have them there for advice or homework help if I need it. The last reason why I think that the dorm experience is the best experience at Brewster is because I get to meet a lot of people who are my age from many different backgrounds and cultures. I learn a lot from my friends who are from other parts of the country and the world.
What I've learned at Brewster...
At Brewster, I have learned how to be very independent. I learned how to truly take care of myself in every aspect of my life and how to have a great work ethic. I learned that work ethic, independency, and advocating for myself are the keys to being a successful student in all areas of school.
What I like the most about the people at Brewster...
What I like most about the people at Brewster is how everyone is very motivating towards their peers. My friends are always pushing me to do better whether it is in the classroom or out on the fields. My teachers are always looking for ways for me to succeed in their classrooms and are always welcoming for as much extra help as I want or need. I have never met any teachers who want their students to succeed more than the teachers here at Brewster Academy.
Favorite class...
I.S because it really helps me with my classes in all areas. I.S teachers are very engaged in the student?s academic growth and like to connect with their students on a personal level. Some of the teachers that I am closest with are my previous I.S teachers.
Describe your teachers, coaches and dorm parents:
My teachers here are the best teachers I have ever had. They care about my academic career more than any other teachers that I have ever had. The thing that they like to see the most is succeeding. Like my teachers, the things that my coaches like to see the most is me have success. They analyze every asset of my performance and always let me know where I have to improve. My dorm parent is the one who keeps me in line and makes sure I am doing my work. Dorm parents really care about the kids in their dorm and always want to make sure that they are happy. |
