B.A., English, Culture Difference, Hobart and William Smith Colleges
Shamar is the community life parent in Sargent II and will teach a section of 10th grade English. Along with his double major in English and culture and difference he minored in peer education and human resources. At Hobart, he was a facilitator for first year college students and served as a dorm parent during the summer for incoming students. After graduating, he worked in the insurance business and for the Appalachian Mountain Club before joining the Brewster community. Mr. Whyte likes to hike, bike, run, play soccer, lift weights, and play cricket. Originally from Jamaica, Mr. Whyte has learned to love the cold New Hampshire winters and hopes to improve his skiing.
