The Team

The 2010 season marks the sixth season of softball at Brewster since its inception in 2004. The program believes in combining a coaching philosophy that can teach the brand-new player the basic skills and rules, while at the same time giving the more experienced player an atmosphere of competitiveness and advanced skills. A big part of the program is the players teaching each other - and this has been accomplished with great success the past several seasons. Typically competitive, the 2008 squad, behind the stellar pitching and captaincy of senior T. White, steam-rolled a path all the way to the Lakes Region Championship.
The 2010 squad has more experience than is typical, with two seasoned pitchers in Sam Hillis and Katherine LeBoeuf, and this should bode well for a great spring.
