2011-2012 Head Tour Guide
Hometown: Hampstead, New Hampshire Activities: Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Crew Have a question about Brewster?
|
What attracted you to Brewster?
What first attracted me to Brewster was the incredible view and the one on one attention that each student gets in all of our classes over the course of our four years.
Favorite Brewster Academy experience?
My favorite Brewster experience was one of the first weekends of this year, my friends and I took a Sunday trip to go apple picking. It was such a nice day and we all had a great time.
Advice to new/prospective students…
The biggest piece of advice i can give to a prospective student is to find a school that you love. I really feel I made the right decision by coming to Brewster and have grown to become a better student and person over my four years here.
What I’ve learned at Brewster Academy…
While attending Brewster Academy, I have really learned to be open minded to meeting new people and trying new things, the more I've experienced, the happier I've been.
What I like most about the people at Brewster...
The community at Brewster is like no other, I walk by people I don't necessarily hang out with, and still say hi with a warm smile and get it in return as well.
My favorite day at Brewster…
My favorite day at Brewster is move in day because all of the students are so excited to see each other and be back together as one community.
My favorite time of day…
My favorite time of day is after sports and before study hall when we have no scheduled activities and can hang out freely with our friends and take a breather to enjoy each others company and create memories.
Favorite classes, why?
My favorite class is english because I enjoy the group discussions and open class talks.
What/where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the library because of the amazing view of the lake through the windows.
Describe your teachers, coaches, dorm parents…
The thing about our teachers, coaches and dorm parents is that the same person usually has multiple roles. Your dorm parent could also be your coach, and math teacher. It's great; the relationship grows into more than a student to faculty, but as a friendship and family.
What do you like about Wolfeboro? How important is location to you?
We are so lucky to have our school in such a cute and convenient town. It has all of the necessities and it is more than great to have dining options when we want to get off campus for a bite to eat.
