The role of the Alumni and Development Office is to support Brewster's mission. We accomplish that in a variety of ways. By connecting with parents, alumni, and friends through our fundraising efforts, the Annual Fund helps to balance the school's operating budget, thereby maintaining a learning community where students can expect to grow strong in mind, body, and spirit.

Our office strives to promote this extraordinary learning environment at Brewster and to fulfill our greatest expectations as a community. NEW - Did you know?

The David And Lynne Kravis Family Foundation (Jay '07) has issued a challenge to Brewster alumni. They will match all new alumni gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000 from March 1 until the close of our fiscal year on June 30.

In the 2006-2007 fiscal year Brewster's Development Team exceeded the $900,000 Annual Fund goal. This year's goal is $950,000.

Tuition only covers approximately 70 percent of the school's operating cost. The Annual Fund, along with tuition, summer program's revenue, and annual interest from the John Brewster Trust, balances the operating budget.  The 2007-2008 approved operating budget for the school is $15,063,126.
