Brewster Academy: Tuition

Basic tuition for boarding students includes room & board, and the academic, athletic and community programs. Day student tuition includes the academic, athletic and community programs and lunch.

Tuition charges for Academic Support classes and English as a Second Language are additional as follows.
Plan B: $9,235
Plan A: $5,755
Plan I : $2,990
ESL I: $13,065
ESL II: $9,695

Some additional costs can be incurred if students choose to participate in specific programs (i.e., driver's education classes, equestrian lessons, etc.)

Deposit Account (Reservation Deposit)
Upon student arrival, the reservation deposit becomes the student's Bookstore Account. This account is used towards the cost for student's books, general school supplies, travel costs and other miscellaneous school expenses.

Tuition Insurance
Insurance is required for all families who elect payment plans or less than 100%. Tuition insurance is strongly suggested for all families.

Developing Your Financing Plan

There are four forms of financial assistance available through the school; payment plans, loans, grants. Each of these resources can be used to develop an affordability package for qualified families. For example, a family may combine a grant and payment plan, or a loan and payment plan to meet the cost of tuition. In each case, the Academy strives to develop a manageable plan for each family.

Payment Plans
Brewster offers 4 payment options for families; 1) the Single Payment Plan, 2) the Two Payment Plan, 3) the 10 Month Payment Plan, and 4) the 12 Month Payment Plan. (For returning students only)

Loans
Loans are facilitated by Brewster through a number of banks approved by The Educational Resources Institute. The Academy offers 4 loan programs; 1) the 12 Month Plan, 2) the 4 Year Plan, 3) the 10 Year Plan (unsecured), and 4) the 15 Year Plan (secured by equity).
