Keys ’04 Makes Collegiate Rowing News
Former Bobcat rower Matthew Keys ’04 and his Marist College varsity crew four took second place in the 106th Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships in June. The second-place finish earned Keys, the captain, and his rowers the highest finish for men’s crew at the IRAs in Marist program history. Keys’ boat finished the race in 6 minutes, 20.8 seconds, just nine tenths of a second behind the first place boat. Earlier in the season, Keys and his varsity eight captured the New York State Championship.
