Seymour shows his employer, Mr. Mushnik, the mysterious plant he found during a recent solar eclipse. Seymour and Audrey, at left, work in Mushnik's run-down flower shop on Skid Row in New York City. Seymour thinks that this plant might be the key to reviving Mushnik's failing business. He has christened the plant Audrey II and puts it in the window to attract the attention of passersby.
