	Wireless Networking Wireless Networking In addition to our wired infrastructure, we also have begun deploying wireless networking (or “WiFi”) in several of our communal areas on campus. While the wired ports are superior for class work (being switched 10/100/1000 instead of maximizing at 54 mbit the way WiFi does), we have found wireless closes the gaps in those areas where port wiring wouldn’t be feasible due to construction or floor layout. As of this writing, wireless networking areas include our dining facilities, our sports facilities, and the Pinckney Boathouse.
