Earth Week Celebration 2008

Brewster's Environmental Club Presents ...

Biodegradable plant pots with flower and vegetable seeds were available for students to plant, nurture, and then transplant in Mr. Carey's community garden. The campus grown vegetables will be served in the dining hall this summer. This informational display in the dining hall illustrates the ways in which students can participate in Earth Week activities on campus. A quiz asks students How Green Are You?

Displays such as these -- put together by members of the Environmental Club and made of recycled materials -- are intended to illustrate environmental concerns and are exhibited on the dining hall tables.

Respect it! Protect it! For our future ... proceeds from these green tees will be donated to an environmentally-friendly non-profit.

Earth Day Wake-Up -- While most of campus was still tucked in bed on Tuesday, students and at least one faculty member took the Endangered Polar Bear Plunge into Wolfeboro Bay. The plunge takes place Tuesday - Saturday at 6:30 a.m. this week.
