Live and Learn in an Ideal Location

DowntownAs one of the “top 100 small towns in America,” Wolfeboro offers everything you’d want and rarely find at most New England boarding schools. And as a Brewster student, you’ll be a short walk from it all—a wide variety of dining, shopping, recreational, and entertainment venues.

And what a town it is! Wolfeboro offers a safe, friendly, and charming setting for academic, athletic, and social pursuits. Located along the shores of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee and less than an hour from the breathtaking White Mountains of New Hampshire, Brewster places you in the heart of the action. You can skateboard, inline skate, bicycle, jog, or walk just five minutes to downtown Wolfeboro where you’ll find restaurants and pizza places, music stores, art galleries, and a diverse assortment of shops.

And don’t forget the outdoor concerts, festivals, sporting events, street fairs, community celebrations, and museums all within a short distance from campus. Plus, you’ll be just an hour or two from some of New England’s best culture, sports, and activities in such cities as Boston, Portland, Concord, Freeport, and Portsmouth. Our campus is only one hour and 15 minutes from the Manchester (NH) Airport and two hours from Logan International Airport in Boston.

With the distinction of being known as “The Oldest Summer Resort in America,” Wolfeboro is a popular tourist destination—and it’s easy to see why! Of the town’s 38,000 acres, 7,800 consist of water. Brewster encompasses one of the largest expanses of open space remaining along Lake Winnipesaukee’s 183-mile shoreline.

This scenic and historic community boasts an off-season population of approximately 5,000 residents and hosts as many as 20,000 to 25,000 visitors in the summer who come here for the spectacular outdoor recreation. You, too, can take advantage of all that nature offers through our Outdoor Skills Program and participate in activities such as rock/ice climbing, hiking, kayaking, and skiing activities in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.

With nearly a dozen parks, mountains, croquet and tennis clubs, camping sites, beaches, hiking/biking trails, and golf courses, it’s easy to see why people from all over the world are drawn to Wolfeboro.
