Winter Musical

Brewster Drama is excited to present "Alice in Wonderland" as this year's winter musical. An original piece directed by Guinevere Hilton with music and lyrics by Music Director, Andy Campbell.  

 

Students are busy learning choreography, blocking, and perfecting their lines. Sets are being designed and built by our Stagecraft class led by John Ling, Mary James '20 is creating and teaching choreography, costumes are being designed by a team of students led by Asal Al Mohammed '19 and lighting is being designed and run by faculty members Steven Burgess and Calvin Phan.  

 

This production is a true community effort!

Showtimes: February 21 at 7 p.m. and February 23 at 2 p.m. in the Grayson Performing Arts Center at Anderson Hall

Lives of Purpose

Brewster students have been participating in a variety of service events throughout the winter trimester and are making an impact in our local community and beyond!

We raised $600 for the Kingswood Youth Center through a bake sale and a 50-50 Raffle at last week's Brewood Classic (annual faculty basketball game between Brewster and local high school Kingswood) See Photos

 

Helping Hands at Hope House
Brewster students are providing tutoring after school for local students who are living in the transitional housing at Hope House in Wolfeboro.

Travel Information

March Break
The deadline for submitting info on the travel manager in the Parent Portal is Monday, February 25.
Thursday, March 7: Interim Studies finishes at 10:30 a.m.
Transport starts at 11 a.m. No flight before 3 p.m from Logan or 3:30 p.m from Manchester.
Friday, March 8: transport between 7 a.m -12 noon
Tuesday, March 26: transport from Logan between 12 noon - 6 p.m. Flights scheduled to arrive after 6 p.m. will require individual transport. Transport from Manchester at 5 p.m. Transport from South Station at 2:15 p.m. Transport from Stamford at 1 p.m.

Interim Studies

Interim Studies is right around the corner. Students will be participating in self-directed projects, travel, service, and internships starting February 22- March 7. This long weekend is a great opportunity to make sure your student has all they need to fully participate in their chosen experience. It is sure to be an incredible two weeks for all! Please be sure to submit the DocuSign waiver if you received one. If you have any questions about your student's experience, please reach out to Sarah Hunt

BlacKkKlansman Community Viewing

Nominated for 6 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, BlacKkKlansman, features Brewster's Topher Grace ('97).
 
Please join us for a viewing of the film at Grayson Performing Arts Center, February 10 at 3 p.m., followed by a casual conversation about the film at Lord House.
