The year 2020 marked Brewster’s Bicentennial, and even though plans for in-person celebrations were thwarted by the pandemic, it’s still a reason to rejoice that this very special place on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee is thriving after two centuries. In this feature, you’ll see some of our favorite images from the Brewster archives to tell just a sliver of that story—including a shot of a baseball game in front of the Academic Building at the very end of the 19th century.
