Brewster Academy's 2020 virtual Commencement ceremony is on Saturday, May 23 at 10 am.
Important Notes for 2021: Brewster's 2021 graduation date coincides with Memorial Day weekend, which attracts many visitors to the Wolfeboro area, so please plan to make your lodging and dining reservations as soon as possible.

What is the schedule of events on Friday and Saturday?
Friday, May 22, 2020
5:30 p.m. – Ivy Address in Anderson Hall
6:15 -7:15 p.m. – Head of School Reception for seniors, their families, and faculty. Estabrook Dining Hall
10 p.m. – Boarding students must check in at dorms
Saturday, May 23, 2020
10 a.m. – Commencement ceremony on Brown Field followed by a luncheon on Lamb Green
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place at the Smith Center for Athletics and Wellness
Does the Head of School reception include dinner?
The reception will include hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
Who is invited to these events?
Graduates, their families, friends, and faculty members
Is there a limit of guests per family? No
Do we need tickets for any events? No
When will families receive Commencement announcements?
These are mailed to all families by early April. Each household will receive 10 announcements and envelopes to send to family and friends. Guests do not need invitations to attend the events.
Can you accommodate handicap seating and parking at these events?
Yes, please arrive early, and we will be happy to assist you. If you need to drop off a family member prior to parking, just let the parking attendants know and they will direct you.
Can you suggest where I could make dinner reservations?

Can you suggest hotel accommodations?
Wolfeboro has a variety of lodging options, including inns, motels, and numerous Bed & Breakfasts. Please see our lodging page.
What time does my son or daughter have to depart campus on Saturday?
We are encouraging all graduates to try and depart campus by about 2 p.m. The families of undergraduates will be arriving after the ceremony to pack up their students. All students will have ample packing time prior to Saturday so please encourage your student to use that time wisely so they are packed and ready to depart by early afternoon.
Are pets allowed on the field at Commencement?
No. Pets are not allowed at any of the Commencement activities. Please make sure you make arrangements for pets to stay home.
