Q. What are some of your favorite things about living in Wolfeboro?

A. One of my favorite things about living in Wolfeboro is how different the town is within the four seasons. There is 3 feet of snow on the ground in the winter, and I can ski almost every day at our local ski mountain. Then just a few months later, in the spring and summer, I am out on the water, fishing, swimming, and just soaking up the sun with my friends. Another one of my favorite things is the view. No matter what time of year or time of day, I can always find a beautiful view of the lake and mountains right out in my backyard.

Q. What sports teams are you involved in and how have they impacted your experience at Brewster?

A. Since my freshman year, I have been involved in soccer, basketball, baseball, cross country, and lacrosse. These sports teams allowed me to create great friendships with my teammates. They also helped me put myself out there and try a new sport at the same time. Sports have always been a big part of my life, but the athletic experience at Brewster has allowed me to pursue my interests on a new level.

Q. What is it like to be a student leader on campus? How has Brewster fostered your interest in leadership?

A. Being a student leader on campus has been a great experience. It has allowed me to become more of a leader in my classes and everywhere else on the campus. Being a student leader means being a role model for the student body, and also being a bridge between students and the faculty to transport ideas back and forth. Brewster has fostered my interest in leadership by showing me how being a leader can benefit others and allow oneself to succeed.

Q. What is your favorite class and why?

A. My favorite class is Spanish. Ever since I came to Brewster, I have found a love for the language. I enjoy learning it and being able to hold conversations in the language. Freshman year, I was given the opportunity to travel to Spain, and being able to speak the native language was very helpful.

Q. What is it like to be a day student at a boarding school?

A. Being a day student at a boarding school is pretty great. I love being able to get the Brewster experience and make many life-long friends on campus, while still being able to live in my own home, be in my own town, and see the friends that I have grown up with my whole life.
