Fifteen Students Sign Letters of Intent to Play in College

On Tuesday, November 19, fifteen Brewster students gathered for a ceremony in the Smith Center to celebrate the signing of their letters of intent to play Division 1 athletics in college. Director of Athletics Matt Lawlor reported that a school record was set with the number of students involved in the fall early signing period. He noted that several more students are expected to sign later in the school year. Before Lawlor introduced the students and their college commitments he remarked, "These students are not just athletes, but leaders in our community—and we are grateful to have them here in Bobcat Nation. Congratulations to all."

The following students were part of the ceremony:

Dillon Arrant, a two-year student from Penacook, New Hampshire will attend UMASS Amherst and will play lacrosse.

Connor Barrett, a one-year student from Chicago, Illinois will attend Valparaiso University and will play basketball.

Terrence Clarke, a two-year student from Roslindale, Massachusetts will attend the University of Kentucky and will play basketball.

Matthew Cross, a one-year student from Beverly, Massachusetts will attend the University of Miami and will play basketball.

Brett Daubert, a two-year student from Canton, Connecticut will attend Loyola of Maryland and will play lacrosse.

Marcus Dockery, a one-year student from Washington, D.C. will attend the University of Maryland and will play basketball.

Emmy Dumaresq, a three-year student from Manchester, New Hampshire will attend Stonehill College and will play soccer.

Leanne Durham, a two-year student from Tewksbury, Massachusetts will attend Sacred Heart University and will play soccer.

Javohn Garcia, a one-year student from Reynoldsburg, Ohio will attend UMASS-Amherst and will play basketball.

Alexander Hauck, a two-year student from Plainfield, New Hampshire will attend the University of Hartford and will play lacrosse.

Ethan Landymore, a two-year student from Alberta, Canada will attend the University of Hartford and will play lacrosse.

DeMarr Langford, a one year student from Worcester, Massachusetts will attend Boston College and will play basketball.

Jamal Mashburn, a two-year student from Miami, Florida will attend the University of Minnesota and will play basketball.

Kadary Richmond, a one year student from Brooklyn, New York will attend Syracuse University and will play basketball.

Jordan Thompson, a three-year student from Durham, New Hampshire will attend the College of Charleston and will play soccer.
