October’s Alumni Athlete of the Month: Tori Daley ‘17, St. Lawrence University-Soccer

For the month of October we celebrate one of Bobcat Nation’s best two-sport athletes of the past decade: Tori Daley. Daley was a multi-sport standout during her days at Brewster, starring in both soccer and basketball and even playing a season of varsity lacrosse. In her three years at Brewster, Daley earned seven varsity letters, played a key role in the soccer team’s NEPSAC title, and was a two-year captain for the varsity basketball team. Additionally, Daley was named a two-time Lakes Region League All-Star in both basketball—and she earned the same recognition three times in soccer.  Upon graduation, Daley chose to attend college close to home and has been a four-year member of the St. Lawrence University Soccer program, where she’s been a consistent starter on defense for the Saints. Despite losing her senior season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Daley has enjoyed her time at St. Lawrence and is taking full advantage of her time to prepare for the next chapter of her life. She was one of the best to suit up for the Bobcats in recent years.

“Tori had a fantastic career at Brewster,” notes long-time Girls Varsity Soccer coach, Matt Butcher. “During her time in our program she became one of the best attacking fullbacks in the league and one of the most dominant athletes in all of Northern New England. Tori was known for her athleticism, mental toughness, and competitiveness. She was a great teammate and earned the respect of our players and coaches in the Brewster Soccer program.”

Congratulations Tori on being named by our athletic department as our Alumni Athlete of the Month for October!
