Hannah Ruegg ’26 - Sailing

Hannah Ruegg ’26 is most comfortable on the windy waters of Lake Winnipesaukee as a strong member of Brewster Sailing. Cooperation, quick decisions, and trust are among the tenets of a quality sailor, all of which Hannah possesses. Coach O’Connor says this skipper has a great feel for her boat and the ability to inspire good work from her crew. Last Saturday during the team’s home regatta in Wolfeboro Bay versus Cardigan Mountain, Hannah was the skipper of a two-person boat competing against six other boats in four races. Her boat came across the finish line in first place in three out of those four races. In the fourth race, she finished in second place. Her total score allowed Brewster to win the regatta! She leads with purpose yet shares her knowledge and experience ably with all members of the sailing team. Way to go, Bobcat of the Week Hannah Ruegg ’26!
