200 Women Exhibition and Our Shared Humanity Speaker Series

200 WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
Brewster is bringing two incredible events to Wolfeboro, and everyone is welcome to partake, attend, enjoy, and learn. The first is 200 Women, an international photo exhibition featuring women—some famous, some not—answering five galvanizing questions that shed light on our shared humanity (including our Commencement speaker, Aminatta Forna). The stunning portraits will be on display through the month of May in three Wolfeboro locations: Lord House here on campus, Town Hall, and the Public Library. (They will also be gathered for special showings in Rogers and Lord House during Spring Family Weekend, Commencement Weekend, and Reunion!) This is the only chance to see 200 Women in North America this summer…and it’s happening right here in Wolfeboro!

VIRTUAL SPEAKER SERIES
The second event draws inspiration from the 200 Women portraits: Our Shared Humanity is a virtual speaker series featuring local and national leaders and educators. The five exhibition questions serve as springboards for the speakers’ talks, which happen every Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. from April 26 through May 24. (Everything is free, but Our Shared Humanity does require an online registration.) Organized by Brewster’s own Nancy Hughes and Marcia Trook, this webinar series is made possible with support from New Hampshire Humanities. We encourage everyone to visit the website here for more about these two unique cultural opportunities.
