On Sunday, January 27, seventeen students were inducted into the John Brewster Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) in a ceremony held on campus.

Senior inductees are Emily Adelson (Wellesley, Massachusetts), Asal Al Mohamed (Sultanate of Oman) Erika Burgess (Wolfeboro), Shemar Joseph (Brooklyn, New York), Sidhira Johnson (Eleuthera, Bahamas), Emily Raynowska (Brentwood, New Hampshire), and José Ramirez Marzullo (Caracas, Venezuela).

Junior inductees are Indigo Brown (Brooklyn, New York), Kaede Kawata (Takaraduka, Japan), Spencer Kiley (Wolfeboro), Hang Liu (Shanghai, China), Sophia Mazri (Windham, New Hampshire), Robert Rohrbaugh (Wolfeboro), Jack St. Sauveur (Wolfeboro), Gwen Schatz (Wenham, Massachusetts), Karlee Stoddard (Darlings Island, NB, Canada), and Carolyn Trepanier (Wolfeboro).

These students join the senior NHS officers: President Meghan O’Hearn (Swansea, Massachusetts), Vice President Catherine Murphy (Northborough, Massachusetts), Secretary Ella Roberge (Alton), and Treasurer Anya Found (Wolfeboro). Other returning members include: Zachary Bennett (Wolfeboro), Katherine Blackburn (Seattle, Washington), John Campbell (Wolfeboro), Katharine Chiasson (Pelham, New Hampshire), Calina-Rose Folkerson (East Wakefield), Zhongqi Hou (Beijing, China), Olivia Papp (Wolfeboro), and Renying Zhang (Jiaxing, China)

Faculty council members are Bret Barnett, Matt Butcher, Laura Duffy, Jennifer Dumont, Maria Found (faculty advisor) and Rob O’Blenis.

Election to the John Brewster Chapter of the National Honor Society reflects a distinguished academic record (a minimum GPA of 3.7 with a transcript demonstrating accelerated progression), exceptional contributions of service, as well as exemplary leadership and character. Students who meet eligibility criteria are considered for election by the faculty council in the fall of each academic year and are inducted into the NHS in the winter trimester. Only junior and seniors are eligible for consideration.
