As a teacher at Brewster, you play a crucial role in fostering an environment where students achieve early success and build confidence in their academic abilities. Our curriculum and teaching practices are designed to support student engagement and success. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Small Class Discussions: Classes at Brewster typically consist of 10 to 14 students, allowing for personalized attention and meaningful class discussions. 
  
• Fostering Collaborative Learning: At Brewster, we believe students learn most effectively when they actively engage with and learn from one another.
  
• Residing in a Dormitory: Faculty members typically reside in dormitories, helping to create residential communities where students learn from and support one another.
  
• Coaching/Afternoon Programs: Faculty members typically coach during two of the three athletic seasons or lead afternoon programs in intramural sports or the arts.
  
• Working Weekend Duty: Faculty members typically serve weekend duty about four times per school year.
