Established as a school for all—children of farmers, shopkeepers, and anyone of student age in our area—Brewster has always been a place where education is available to those who seek it. In 1887, John Brewster's historic gift laid the foundation for our commitment to inclusion, ensuring that no one would be denied access based on age, sex, or color.
