Experience Summer at BrewsterSummer at Brewster is a kaleidoscopic celebration of learning, performance, adventure, and fun. Stroll through what most would argue is the campus with the most beautiful site of any boarding school in the United States and you are sure to be struck with the level and variety of activity. Music pours from open windows, kids are collecting samples for science classes down at the lakefront, another group sits in a circle under the shade of a century-wide tree laptops in hand, the school's busses are heading out loaded with adventurers and pulling canoe and kayak trailers, and on the fields a hundred athletes are going through soccer, lacrosse, or field hockey drills. Inside and outside, all day and into the night, the campus is abuzz with scenes like these and many more. Here is a sampling of the opportunities available:

| Brewster Summer Institute | | This four-week pre-service professional development program is offered each summer for all new teachers at Brewster, regardless of prior teaching experience. The program is also open to non-Brewster educators. June 28 - July 23, 2010. |
| Brewster Academy Summer Session | | With academics, technology, adventure, arts, and leadership all rolled into one program, the Summer Session is both a school and an adventure camp. Its setting on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee offers an ideal environment for this small, intensive camp/school open to students ages 12-18. In addition to taking intensive courses (including some for credit) in a variety of subject areas, including English, ESL, writing, mathematics, science, and computer graphics, students also participate in a wide range of outdoor and social activities focused on skills training and life preparation. June 27 - August 6, 2010. International students arrive two days earlier (6/25).

| The Royal Thai Scholars | | Since 1992, a group of students from Thailand has traveled to Brewster each summer for a 11-week orientation program that educates Royal Thai Scholars in an array of courses that include ESL (reading, writing, listening, and speaking), cultural adaptation, technology, college research, SAT and TOEFL exams preparation, writing the college entrance essay, the arts, and laboratory science classes. This is the Thai Scholars’ starting point on their long and challenging, ten-year educational journey in North America, and Brewster is the only school that gets them all at one time. At the end of each summer, the Thai Scholars enter their postgraduate years at various outstanding prep schools including Brewster. |
| Heifetz International Music Institute | | This six-week institute hosts 75 talented young musicians from around the world who study violin, viola, cello, and piano on the Brewster campus and perform weekly concerts on campus and throughout Wolfeboro. One of the program highlights is the professional concert series conducted by the Institute's extraordinary faculty. June 25 - August 7, 2010.
The student Stars of Tomorrow Concerts are available to view through live, pay-per-view internet video broadcasts. The concerts are Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.* The first concert airs Wednesday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m.. | GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps | | Brewster Academy hosts these intensive and fun camps for athletes ages 8-18 again in 2010. Men's LAX will be August 6 - 9. Women's LAX will be August 12 - 15. |
| Brewster Academy Soccer School | | The Brewster Academy Soccer School is back for its 20th year in 2010. The school/camp, conducted by Tech Athletics, is overseen by Dr. Bill Miller, director, and NSCAA National "Coach of the Year" in 1996, 1991, and 1988. Two one-week sessions in August are open to girls and boys ages 10 to 18. Dates are August 1-6 and August 22-27.

| Great Waters Music Festival at Brewster Academy | | Great Waters Music Festival brings a diversity of musical talents to the Brewster Academy campus July through September.
The program is designed to appeal to a variety of musical tastes,
both classical and popular, and to bring together outstanding amateur
and professional musicians. Its purpose is to promote live musical
performances including choral, symphonic, folk, pops, jazz, Broadway,
dance, and renowned vocal and instrumental artists.
