We love welcoming alumni back to campus for Reunion—a cherished tradition that brings our community together to reminisce, reconnect, and celebrate lasting bonds. It’s a time to catch up with classmates and faculty and revisit the spaces and places that shaped so many memories. Registration is now open for Reunion Weekend 2026!

Beginning in 2026, Brewster will move to hosting Reunion Weekend every other year. This thoughtful shift is a pilot plan that allows us to plan bigger, more vibrant, and more memorable reunions, with expanded programming, deeper class connections, and even more opportunities to celebrate the shared Brewster experience. We also recognize that friendships at Brewster transcend class years, and based on feedback we’ve received, an every-other-year schedule will allow larger groups of alumni to plan special trips in advance so they can really celebrate together.

Why is Brewster making this change to Reunion?
Brewster is shifting the Reunion format to help more alumni return to campus and to create a richer, more memorable experience when they do. Since COVID, attendance has steadily declined, and moving to an alternating-year model (similar to what many of our peer schools are doing) allows us to focus our energy and resources on an outstanding celebration.
When will this change begin?
We will host Reunion in 2026, and then the alternating-year schedule will begin in 2027. The next Reunion will take place in 2028.
What will happen in the years that Reunion is not being held?
In the “off” years, we will not host a formal Reunion gathering. However, alumni are always warmly welcomed to visit campus, attend Brewster events in their local area, reconnect with faculty and staff, and experience Brewster at any time during the year.
When will I be celebrating my milestone year in the future?
Reunion will be hosted in the following years, with special recognition for milestone classes:
2028 – Special recognition for graduation years ending in 2, 3, 7, 8
2030 – Special recognition for graduation years ending in 0, 4, 5, 9
2032 – Special recognition for graduation years ending in 1, 2, 6, 7
2034 – Special recognition for graduation years ending in 3, 4, 8, 9
2036 – Special recognition for graduation years ending in 0, 1, 5, 6
If your class falls into one of these groupings, you can look forward to being celebrated that year.
Is this a permanent change?
No. This new approach is a pilot, and Brewster will review it periodically to ensure it continues to serve the community well. The Alumni Office welcomes your thoughts, questions, and feedback as we navigate this transition together.
