ArtCat Awards

This week’s ArtCat is a dedicated ninth grader who brings passion, focus, and leadership to Brewster’s afternoon band. As the bassist for The Airballers, Anika Webster ’29 of Delray Beach, Florida, consistently leads by example—showing up prepared, working hard, and inspiring her bandmates with her positive attitude and musical commitment. Her steady groove and teamwork have been key to the group’s success. Congratulations to Anika Webster ’29…we look forward to seeing you and The Airballers perform at upcoming Coffee Houses!

This fall in 3D modeling, Meghan Reilly ’28 has shown an excitement to learn the craft of modeling in 3D and the skills needed to think in three dimensions when creating her designs. She has quickly adapted to learning new software for this challenging medium and excels at her model designs. Meghan demonstrates excellent out-of-the-box thinking in problem solving to create the complex designs she imagines, and strives to challenge herself with each new model she creates. For her hard work in 3D modeling, this week’s ArtCat goes to Wolfeboro’s own Meghan Reilly ’28!

This week’s Art Cat goes to a senior in Drawing & Painting and Afternoon Studio Art for her ability to work with a variety of materials, strong technical skills, and creativity. Independent and hard working, Lilly Felch-Lindvall ‘26 consistently grasps the art concepts at hand and finds unique and thoughtful ways to create her work. The small watercolor studies she paints for friends and family are quite stunning—showcasing her natural skill with color and light. Lilly has developed her own style and approaches in her work, and is being highlighted with this award not only for her artwork, but also for her kind, thoughtful, and compassionate demeanor. Congrats to the latest Art Cat, Lilly Felch-Lindvall ’26 from Nantucket, Massachusetts!

This week’s Art Cat goes to Natalie Kibler ’29, a Fundamentals of Theater student who has distinguished herself as a stand-out presenter and performer. Her two-minute presentation on how to pass a pencil from her left to her right hand was creative and very funny. When asked to present for five minutes on the sport of her choosing, Natalie struggled to decide between Hobby Horsing and Extreme Ironing. She is always one of the first to volunteer and has a natural talent for theater and improvisation. Paws up for Art Cat Natalie Kibler ’29 from Las Vegas, Nevada!

Autumn Taylor ’28 of nearby Mirror Lake, New Hampshire has been named one of the first two ArtCats of the 2025-26 school year! Autumn is a ceramics student who comes to class each day ready and eager to work hard and do her best. Her teachers say she is a kind, thoughtful, creative, and independent student. Her work showcases her natural ability to work with clay and the artistic process. A new student to Brewster, Autumn already exudes our Community Core Values. She impresses with her ability to work through challenges and find unique and innovative ways to create her work. She is meticulous and puts great craft and care into what she does. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes this year both in the art classroom and beyond! Congrats to talented ArtCat Autumn Taylor ‘28.

Mauricio Dayan ’27 came to photography this year eager to take photos and express himself through images. As the class were just learning camera settings and techniques, Mauricio was already going above and beyond with his composition and attention to form in his photos, and editing his shots after importing to further enhance his final pieces. For his engagement and creative concept thinking, Mauricio Dayan ’27 of Huixquilucan, Mexico has been named one of this year’s first ArtCats!
